ok.... i finally got the iso image i was after of mandrake8.0(beta). i am
able to mount it under /mnt/iso using the commands given above :-)
trouble is, i won't be running linux when i try to access these files as the
intention is to install linux from these iso images. mandrake do not offer
(at first sight) a boot disk for iso images. does anyone know how i can now
install linux from these files?
do i create a custom boot disk and mount the file system manually during
install or can it be a little more automated than this?
