As I don't use RC at all I have no personal experience. I'm just

.10 has been around for ages in the sense that they've bumped up the
version number on the snapshots. It hasn't actually been released
released yet, if that makes sense. IE if you look on the GNOME ftp
server the highest version number you'll find is still 0.9. I get all
my software from the academic mirror and take it home on a zip disk.
So snapshots CVS etc I rarely use. Again from the mailing list they were
planning to put it out this week but it hasn't made it, so I'm hopeful
for next week.
It doesn't look bad at all for what is still Developer-only ware
