As it should be, I guess. The server that hosts my website is showing

 5:16pm up 32 days, 21:00, 37 users, load average: 0.37, 0.45, 0.45

It's a dual processor box running 2.2.19 - this is a relatively high
load for this box, compared with it at other times.

Unlike my workstation:

 11:17pm  up 9 days,  5:50,  4 users,  load average: 2.00, 2.04, 2.09

X does equal a big jump in load figures. My figures are a bit duff,
since I'm running a dnet client on all my machines.

Thats with 4-5 hours a night use, plus sitting there heating the room
the rest of the time.

BTW, I'm running 2.4.4-ac5...give 2.4.5-pre1 or 2.4.4 a try.

Re: Will's comment - X crashes, thanks - Mozilla died and took X out
not long after I read that post. Voodoo! :-)
