Just in case anyone is interested!

I didn't get anywhere with trying to find what was causing the error codes I 
asked about some days ago, so I contacted the shop from where I bought the 
motherboard and video card. 

Eventually, they decided that there was an incompatibility between the board 
and card and swapped the video card for a different make.

All is now working correctly.
