All the good mobos come with a manual. (Most of the poor ones do too;-)

Building a PC is not difficult, but there are a few things to be aware
of:

Watch out for static, things aren't too bad these days but you might as
well be careful.

Read the mobo manual for the jumper settings, its a good idea to do
these before populating the board.

Most things will only go in the correct place and one way round except
drive cables and com port cables - check that the red wire goes to pin
1.
Check master/slave settings on the HDD, they are usually set to master
by default, but check.

The only tricky bit I find is working out where to plug the reset
switch, speaker, HDD LED, power switch etc (and its not that tricky),
again read the manual.

Some of the cards and memory need pushing quite hard to seat them
properly, this will bend the mobo if it is not adequately supported.
