[Sheflug] Automating jobs with cron

I got no decent info on how to setup the cron i would like it to 
back up file automaticly from the harddisk to the zip, will i need to write an
batch program to execute the back up procedure or, is the a way of writing a
line that dose the same thing in the cron tab?
