	apt-cdrom add with the CD in the CD tray should add that CD
without a problem. It has always worked for me.

	If you use apt-cdrom you don't need to mess about with the apt
file at all. At any ratte, you can't point to a device, you'd have to
point to a directory where the CD-ROM would be mounted (in Debian,
usually /cdrom). And then you need to specify the version of debian and
all that stuff. 

	Anyway, use apt-cdrom. Does exactly what you want to do (when
you install Debian, it tells you about its existance).

	It means that you haven't got the KDE library headers installed
:-) Presumably you want to install kdelibs-dev and a host of other dev
packages (or ftp it over from my previous message).
