I fancy building me a new spacecraft then! im sure it'll be useful for
something.,, When you say net do you mean directly to the net or into
my home network? If i plugged it inot my network and it could only
access the net through a firewall, that would be safe would'nt it?

There's a fella over at WYlug who's had his Smoothwall installation
cracked. So, stay away from it until the update comes along.

SuSE installation I can tell you how to do it. Or Debian as well.

That would be great. I mean, a PIII is a good machine, and although I
need something that will share a cable modem with the rest of the
house (much as Id like to hog it all to myself), i dont really want to
waste the machine as just a server, if it could possibly act as both.
