UPDATE:

Have sucessfully installed Irix 6.2 and im taking the demo overview
thing to tell me how too actually use the thing. Slight problem with
Netscaoe or the network though: although the network is connected and
plugged in etc, if i try and access this box which is 192.168.0.2 in
order to check apache web server, netscape says something about NIS
not setup correctly and cant use the network. Any ideas. 

PS im also looking for ideas on what I can actually use this system
for, apart from making videos of ourselves acting like idiots when
we're doing what we do best...

Now to get that external 2gb scsi disk working and see whats hannging
around on that :)
