Re: [Sheflug] Compaq SIMMs wanted



Not that _I_ was a big fan of Compaq parts, but, apparently, my Deskpro XL
5133 is... It's a P133 machine with 16M onboard RAM, and 4 more 72-pin
slots with _gold_ contacts. So, what's really needed is FP RAM with
gold-plated contacts 70ns, parity... Of 4 pairs of RAM it only accepted 1,
all the rest it rejects with 'failed noise test' error message...
