Re: [Sheflug] Connecting to BT Internet with Mandrake 8.0



I believe its a front end to the package WVDIAL which handles the dialling
of net connections rather spiffilly. The icon youre seeing is KWVDIAL (?) i
think. Make sure you have both package installed.

Im not sure about how its set up in mandrake, but in Suse, its an integral
part of Yast2. Install both the wvdial and kwvdial and check the
documentation, it should be easy to set up and i know itll work with linux
as ive used suse with btinternet before. Hope this helps, tho like someone
said before, youll probabaly need some special initialisation strings
aswell.
