I was the fella who suggested a year or so ago that we have a BSD
meeting by way of a change from the Linux meetings. So we got to
work to organise it in the belief that some people would show
interest.

On the Saturday afternoon that we did it only a few of us were there.
Craig Andrews, myself and Paul Sims. We did get someone else come
in for five minutes. I think command line BSD on Paul's newly
installed Free BSD machine scared him off. Also Matt Palmer who was
new to us then and a couple of others.

I've always said that I'd like to have another BSD meeting and invite
any BSD people who want to join in. I think we would have to have
something else going on at the same time to attract a crowd.

I've just started on Net BSD which is really good stuff. It's got a
Linux emulator built into it. Open BSD is one of my favourites and I
think Free BSD is great for learning but probably not so good for the
experienced Unix person.

Thanks
