Would it be possible to cheat? I.e., relay through your local machine
before going to the SMTP server? Most Linux SMTP engines will do SMTP
AUTH (I have it setup in exim), so if KMail won't connect via SMTP AUTH,
make it connect via SMTP to your local server and punt onwards.
