[Sheflug] Pipex ADSL

I'm interested in getting an ADSL internet connection for the house, and was
wondering if anyone has had any experience with the new Pipex Xtreme
Standard service($24.99+VAT a month - no installation charges).

The most important thing is how easy it is to get running on a linux
box(Probably Debian 2.2r3, but failing that some version of RH) - but I
would also like to know if anyone has any experience with it at all...

The modem that they provide is an Alcatel Speed Touch modem, which is a USB
one, and I know there have been a few posts about that recently. The
alternative to this would be to buy a different ADSL modem, but since I'm
new to this I don't know which would be easier to setup...

Thanks
