This is a bit off-topic to say the least but you do sound desperate...

This may be obvious but check the Recycle Bin.

Have you booted the system many times since? Windows writes to lots of
files, and if you haven't set a fixed size swap file it may have grown
over it. If your disk is nearly full then the chances of getting it back
are reduced. Go to http://www.download.com and try the demo version of
Recover98.
