Indeed. In fact, from what I could tell, the initial email was a warning 
against a potential threat of spam or similar, rather than any 'non-linux' 
talk.

If a post is mostly on topic, interesting enough to promote conversation, and 
not just a flame or spam, I can't see a problem.
