While the one floppy distro might be useful, I'd probably go for
a Debian or Slackware install. You have plenty or hard disk space (250
meg), so you should be all right for both. I hear that now even Mandrake
has a 65 Meg install, leaving you with plenty of space to play around
with. The thing is that it is probably easier to update/upgrade software
(if you ever need to) in say Debian than in MuLinux. The add-ons in
MuLinux are not particularly well documented either (even though I think
it's a cracking distro).
