Thanks ever so much for helping me out in March.  Can't find the rsync 
man page on my laptop or my workstation so I thought I'd try the 
list.

I want to use rsync to backup all of my workstation stuff to an 
internal domestic server before I upgrade it.   What do I tell rsync 
to do so that it can do that ?

Something like .....   

rsync /home/user    to    /home/user   

on another machine on the network.
