Stuff like Lindows or Xandros might be what you are looking for. They 
standardize on e.g. a single desktop UI. RedHat is attempting to do this 
somewhat too.

Fine, they can send them to their AOL "chat rooms" with their AIM buddies. 
It's just some of use remember when this was all fields. :)
