Yes, I've had the same reaction/response from them. The stock response
which I've developed is to tell them that I want network support, not
Linux support: all they have to do is tell me what to do, and what
information they require, in the terms that they'd use with a Windoze
user: I'll do the translation to/from Linux terms. This seems to work
with most of the staff.
Mind you, it's normally quicker to figure out the problem myself, and
then tell them what it is (the only issue is explaining it in terms that
they can understand!)
