It's along the lines of Big Bill says that you MUST buy two licences if you use VNC (I'm not sure if it applies to XP's own desktop sharing feature)... I seem to remember the reasoning being that XP is a single client licence (although VNC doesn't give you the ability to run as two distinct users anyway). ... It's not a technical issue - as I've run VNC on my Dad's XP machine before - since it would share out Internet and you can't just ssh in and issue "poweroff".
