Thats right , we have the BBC south yorkshire IT Bus coming down to provide
internet and IT Basic skills training for any body passing, Sheffield College
are doing a stall. Burngreave Adult Learning Campaign will be there ( a four
year project employing 20 workers),representatives from all the ukonline and
learndirect providers in the area ( 5 centres ), and guest speakers from the
stockton online project, DfEE wired up communities + lots of the general public
all eager to find out about what IT can do for them and what and where they can
learn about it and with it. As an added attraction you're also right in the
middle of Burngreave wireless CAN so its free high speed internet access for
anybody with a wireless card.

It is a mainly local event but open to all

It is a lot of work - which is why we are late with the flyers!
