I think its an NIS issue because when i get a shell as root (or any other non
nis user) its fine, but when i log on as a nis user i get
I have no name! [at] iskra:$
as my shell prompt.
A quick google reveals other people with the same issue (though mostly related
to ldap and nis)but i cannot see a resolution
.. any NIS guru's in the house? Or is it back to RTFM?
