[Sheflug] DHCP again
Right, I'm part way through converting our LAN from static IP to DHCP.
Could someone please explain why my Winduhs boxes seem to perform quite
happilly but my Linux boxes can't successfully ping each other.
I run LinNeighborhood on some of the boxes and they can connect through that
so it's my guess that the NetBios/NetBeui side of things is OK. From all the
docs I've read, dhcpd acts as a nameserver so why am I getting this problem?
If the Winduhs boxes work OK, it's my guess I've missed doing something on
the Linux boxes.
Cheers
Steve
