SME-Server on Linux Mag will help with setting up a linux server with
smb "windows" shares

Try IPcop for a easy setup solution for VPN firewall, router. Install
dansguardian for content filter "good" for home and school + squidGuard
blacklist.gz file list to filter url's

Use Mandrake 9.0 - 9.1 with connection to windows client "samba"
