SuSE say that all Lucent modems are supported.
If power management is giving you grief try editing the grub config file. It
probably says apm=off, acpi=on. Change it to the other way around, or turn
both off.
ps. A helldesk is slang for a helpdesk. Do you not read BOfH?!
