Well it has what appears to be a normal 3.5mm stereo plug (the orange end)
that plugs into the socket equipped for digital output on the soundcard.
(The actual plug itself has more than 3 'bands' around it as in a normal
stereo plug though).
The speaker settings in windoze are for 'Digital Output Only' and the
setting on the speakers is for 'Digital Din'.
Unfortunately I cant plug my speakers into the soundcard directly, as its a
5.1 system with speakers all over the place (and the connectors on them are
not 3.5mm plugs).
