[Sheflug] Apologies: Writing to NTFS

Just apologising for sending my last email HTML. I'm using Outlook Express
until the drive is formatted see. Here it is again in case there are any
HTML filtered emails...

To cut a long story short I got a DVD writer for Chrimbo and with DVD images
being larger than 2gb I have a bit of a problem.

The setup I usually have is 10gb for Linux, 5gb for Windows and then a 20gb
FAT partition so I can share the downloads between both. Because DVD images
are larger than 2gb I'm having to store the images on my Linux parition.
Which isn't really a problem but I can't hold more than one image at a time
so I would rather use my downloads partition.

What I'm wanting to know is what kind of support Linux has for writing to
NTFS partitions? I know it can read them but I'm not sure about writing. Are
there any new modules in the 2.6 kernel for instance which help with this?

Darrell
