Just to wake up those people who just like myself have probably 
snoozed off at the keyboard..

Fosdem is upon us.  www.fosdem.org for more info.  Some of us have 
already booked our trip on Eurostar which costs about UKP70 return 
and takes about three hours.  The coach is a lot cheaper but takes 
about nine hours.  Driving there is okay if you own a Ferrari and you 
don't mind taking part in the Gumbal rally.  Flying to Brussels can 
be good.  Someone like Ryanair or EasyJet might oblige.  There is a 
bus service from the airport to downtown Brussels.  

We usually find that Alisdair Kergon has put up a web site somewhere 
with some helpful info.  If he didn't do it this year then send some 
mail in here if you want to come along with the rest of us.  I can 
help with hotels or the youth hostel.  Eurostar is at...

Lots of lovely Belgian and French scenery to be viewed rather than the 
ugly autoroute or all of that cotton wool upstairs.
