It is a bit, I know it should be a global issue but the design part of a
website is the most important part, as opposed to the build. Get the design
wrong and it doesn't matter how good the build is (<flame_suit=on>). If the
designer is going to meet with the client to discuss requirements,
specifications, art work, amendments and such things it is better if they
don't have to drive half way up the country for each meeting. I'm not
saying Derby is too far but you have to draw the line somewhere and I was
lead to believe that there were loads of web design companies all over the
UK so making arbitrary limits shouldn't limit you too much on choice if you
see what I mean.
