Hi

I hope somebody can help.

At work we run a mainly MS shop but I have introduced a couple of Linux "test & development" machines. I have got them connected to the network getting a DHCP address and I have set unique hostnames on the machines. What I need help with is getting Linux to auto register to the Windows DNS server.

We are running Server 2000 /2003 with Active directory.

Any help with getting the machines to auto register in DNS would be great. I have Googled but not managed to find much.
