My lovely TFT doesn't have any problem with different resolutions :P
It's hooked up to my Radeon 9200 via DVI - none of this analogue
nonsense. It looks great at any resolution (except those above it's
maximum, obviously ;), doesn't require me to mess around with the
settings to get the screen straight either - it just works. I wouldn't
go back to CRT personally!
I have two beautiful 17" TFTs set up dual head powered by an nVidia
FX5900XT graphics card. One DVI and one analogue - DVI is nicer but
analogue is pretty good. I would like a card with two DVIs one day
though. They works great under Gentoo using the 64 bit nVidia drivers
and Xinerama.
