There is a difference between DVI and analogue. I have a dual head 17"
TFT set up at home, one using DVI and the other using analog (graphics
card only had one of each), and you can see the improved clarity even
after adjusting the settings of the analogue one.
Also DVI just works straight away at native resolution or less, whereas
analogue has to adjust itself to get the best picture (and doesn't
always get there on its own). Didn't realise 15" TFTs had become so
cheap though - we could do with some for the lab where space is at a
premium.
