Debian gets my vote. I installed debian sarge (testing) on a box just
yesterday and installed apache/php/mysql on it with no headaches at
all. This was on a PIII 600 Compaq Proliant server with a mixture of
IDE and SCSI devices, no X windows, onboard network and hardware RAID.
However I also have it running on a manky old p233 with very little
memory and oddball net cards.
