Try this:

Open file /etc/modprobe.conf with a text editor such as Joe or Vi in a
root console.

Comment out lines: (put a # in front of them)
alias sit0 ipv6
alias net-pf-10 ipv6

This disables ipv6 in SuSE and should fix the problem.
