[Sheflug] printer help

I haven't posted for years, things have been going right,
but I now have a problem, I'm running Suse 10 and printing on an Epson  
stylus
d88 plus, driven  by turboprint, this is the problem
when I print I get lines , as if there where a bit missing in the print  
out,
(I go back to apple2 and this ment the 8th bit was missing}
but when I print turboprints test page it has no lines and is perfect.
where do I look to solve this problem?
