[Sheflug] change of distro

changed my distro now
have Ubuntu 6.06 running, didn't go to 7.04 it seamed to buggy, couldn't  
get
the live disk to run.but I've mucked up the partioning, and only have  
ubuntu not ubuntu and Suse as I wanted,
I have a large partion hda3 which is owned by root so can't put my backed  
up files into it,
if anyone knows how to do this it would be a help, if not I'll read the  
book
