Did all the codec stuff:
And finally I removed totem-xine - which removes
gnome-desktop-environment, restarted iceweasel
(???whyohwhydidtheydothat???) and RealPlayer came up at working but
really crap quality. The worst I have seen in a long while but this is
a busy time of day on t'Internet. And at least it is working. I have
no idea why.
