[Sheflug] Travel size computer or phone - Wifi

Can anybody recommend a small cheap device for travelling during the 
holidays, which allows easy email access over WiFi.

Net books would be the easy choice and versatile,
any recommendations.

Or anyone have anything more unusual but useful.


I don't use a mobile phone enough to warrant a monthly contract and 
email access that way, but understand some devices might allow WiFi 
which the hotels I'm going to supply for about £10 to cover the entire stay.


Obviously Linux based devices tend to allow less powerful hardware to 
give good results and tend to be cheaper which is why I thought I'd ask 
this group for advice.


A reasonable keyboard rather than typical mobile phone would be preferable.

Full web access and USB to empty the digital camera would be a bonus.

Smaller the better.
