My own home web server does what I want it to do. Easy to install..

This is easy to build if like me you built machines on contract for
IBM and Compaq. I can just throw something together from some
leftover scrap for about £50. Choice of software ? ......

Ubuntu or Fedora or CentOS or Scientific Linux will quickly and easily
install Apache and PHP and Wordpress or whatever. Copy and paste from
this page...

Keeping this going takes about 60 seconds a week. Unlike winduhs
server which is horrendous. Update.. reboot.. reboot.. reboot ...
update... reboot . 2 days later. With GNU/Linux you just apt-get
update. apt-get upgrade. However, in your case. I'd just carry a
USB stick around. Probably does what you want.
