There you have the paradox. You want a decent pc, but the current state of
development of the PC is almost entirely down to the success of Windows,
creating bloatware, requiring better hardware, allowing bloatier
bloatware..............
We have Bill Gates & Co. to thank for lower memory prices and a gazillion
posts of "will my winmodem work in linux?".
