Bothersome HD.

 I`ve been quite stupid.

I dropped a 6Gb drive on the floor the other day. Now it looks like
there *might* be a few errors on the drive.

Strange thing is, the drive will take Linux happily (first time it
wasn`t happy, but it`s OK now), but the Winblows 98 setup problem, err,
program hangs on the format.

I wouldn`t bother with Windoze any more, however this machine is going
to my folks.

Anyone got any ideas how to format this drive so that any badblocks are
ignored and I can use the damned beast again?

 Cheers.

 Baz.
