Alternatively, you could use a proxy server like WinProxy www.winproxy.cz
which you can install on your windoze box and which is very good. The
downloadable "demo" version is actually fully useable but only supports two
simultaneous users (which I think is enough for your purposes). If there
are reasons why you want to keep the modem on your windoze box this might
be a good solution. We use the unlimited version of this s/w at work here
and I could offer advice on setting it up (if I can do it it must be pretty
easy).
It provides a firewall too.
Sorry to appear to be plugging windoze s/w but this might be the easiest
(and cheapest) solution.
