[Sheflug] Star Office in non root user mode
I am having trouble getting staroffice 5.1 ( yes the free distro!) to work in
non-root user mode in mandrake 7. 0 and at the moment I have installed it in
the /home/Office51 directory via root. In non root user mode I cannot get it to
start unless I use kdesu -c in the shortcuts I do not like the idea of having a
root password lying about in non root user mode for crackers to get acess to. I
do not understand what the big issue because game such as Quake 3 and
Civlisation were installed in /home directory but work fine in non root user mode
. Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong here.
I would be very greatful for your help
Sammy
