Not quite sure really.  What I do if I get one of these is delete SO
and re-install.  I did come across several situations where a cracker
did this to me so that I couldn't use SO on my SuSE machine.

Don't forget to backup your files that you have produced with SO. 
Since SO 5.2 is upon us it's well worth going to www.sun.co.uk and
ordering a new SO 5.2 CD for yourself.  Won't cost you anything.
