yes, that's what i'm doing (rxvt is the app. i've also tried others... small
games etc)

a few minutes? B says something like couldnot connect to server. connection
refused.
> don't get it... Well, maybe some firewall settings or hosts.deny?
well, this is what i wondered origonally? i didn't know if firewall rules
would block calls to the xserver though?
hosts.deny? every site giving advice on this says ensure you enter
all:all
so i have! if this blocks the x server, what should i enter to allow access
to the xserver through ppp1 only?
PS.
i'm running iptables kernel2.4.3. (a sample kindly supplied by barrie)
however, i havn't been able to find out how to to allow xserver traffic
through.... again, does the iptable block xserver calls?
thanks,
Ross
