So am I the only one putting my own stuff in /usr/local? I guess
that 90% of the software I have installed is not compiled "in-house",
it's only a couple of packages that I compile for my system (let's say
apache, samba and an ftp server).
And I remember to be ways to let apt deal with broken
dependencies. The thing is I only remember that it was possible, not how
it was done.
