ideas for question 2.... do you mean accessing samba shares? i believe you
have to be logged into the windows box as a username and password that has a
valid account on the linux box... if you have then it may mean u need to use
encrypted passwords inlinux or unencrypted passwords in windows (whichever
sounds like easiest to piss about with to you). I had it working before but
only once I'd set up the linux box as a user server (which would normally be
a windows NT server somwhere else on the network).
