OTTOMH - you probably need to add the server to the Windows domain (computer
user) to make it authenticate automatically. That means doing a smbpasswd -j
(I think!) to generate a local file after you've added the computer to the
domain. It's in the docs somewhere, but you may want to upgrade to 2.2 -
better support for this kind of thing.
Going the other way (automatically allowing other NT servers to mount smb
shares) probably requires WinBIND.
