A big thankyou to everyone who helped yesterday... thanks for explaing about
the difference between ethernet and modem use alex! After reading the manual
(again) untill 3am this morning :) with this in mind, I found that all I have
to to is add the line 'defaultroute' to the options file, and then any non - 
ethernet data will use the modem! 

This email is being written in, and sent using Linux... I feel really chuffed. I
felt like dancing a jig when I got it working this morning. :)
